Android voice typing commands
With Gboard, say "period", "comma", "question mark", "exclamation point", "new line" or "new paragraph". Pixel 6 and later add voice editing, such as "delete last word", "clear" and "send".
These are Google's documented commands for Gboard. Other keyboards, such as Samsung Keyboard, use their own voice input with different commands.

Pixel 6 and later: advanced voice typing
Turn on Advanced voice typing features in Gboard's Settings → Voice typing. These work in English, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish.

Detailed edits and "fix it" send your text, but not your audio, to Google, and need a connection.

On Pixel 9 and later (except Pixel 9a), you can also say "proofread this", "make my email more formal", "shorten my text" and "use this". These run on the phone.
